News from Northern Ireland

The Southern Health and Social Care Trust included the Workwell Foundation heart-rate monitoring (HRM) resources in their online Page Tiger “as a strategy to help avoid Post Exertional Symptom Exacerbation (PESE)”

The charity Hope 4 ME & Fibro Northern Ireland has made these excellent resources more accessible by printing hard copies with attached intro note below, to be included in their HCP information packs.

The Southern Health and Social Care Trust provides health and social care services across the five council areas of Armagh, Banbridge, Craigavon, Dungannon, and Newry and Mourne.

The Trust employs approximately 13,000 staff and spends £532 million annually in the delivery of health and social care services.

For May 2024, the charity Hope 4 ME & Fibro Northern Ireland has organised an even bigger and better awareness campaign in Northern Ireland.

This year we also celebrate the 10th anniversary of receiving official charity status! (Support group formed in 2011).

Events will include the lighting up of Stormont Buildings, home of our Devolved Assembly government on May 12th plus other Council area buildings.
